Collection & Fine Rugs, formerly located in Boston's Back
Bay, recently moved to Quincy at 809 Hancock St. The firm features a large collection of handmade wool and silk carpets from around the world, and antiques. Solomon Mojtabai, a retired general and vascular surgeon, established the company in 1987 as a result of his lifelong passion for Oriental carpets. Originally known as Newbury Street Rugs, named for the Newbury Street,
Boston, location, the name was changed in 2000 to Solomon's Collection
& Fine Rugs. |
